Planning Board Meeting Recordings

We are now using a service that allows you to listen or download Planning Board Live recordings. New recordings are usually uploaded Fridays by noon when possible.

Recordings

  • 2005 and 2007 to present: Go to each respective Planning Board agenda and look in the upper right hand corner to find a listing of the recordings. See archived agendas.
  • 2006: See Mediamax for downloading Go to Mediamax.

How to find your meeting item

Each meeting is recorded in parts numbered 1, 2, 3, etc. Most of these recordings run for 60 minute segments. To find the portion of the Planning Board meeting you are interested in hearing, refer to the Agenda for that date (see past Agendas). Next, estimate from the agenda, which hour the item was likely discussed by the Board. Next, click on the link below on this page ("Go to Planning Board Live Recordings") and find the month and day the meeting was held. Click "play" to hear the segment that may contain your item. If you don't hear your item, try moving ahead to the next part and listen into that discussion. Do note: the Planning Board does, on occasion, take items out of the order indicated on the agenda.

How to play & copy recordings

After clicking on the link above "click here to go to the meeting recordings directory, you will be taken to StreamLoad. Next, click on the "open" button to see the contents of each montly folder of recordings. Click on the "Play" button to hear that recording. The service will automatically launch a media player on your computer (Real Audio or Windows Media).

If you want to save a recording, click "Download" and save it to a location on your computer. When downloading, keep in mind that these are big files (up to 27 MB) and can take several minutes to download.

Podcasts lets you subscribe to our feed and automatically download and listen to recordings as they are published each week. This makes it easy to listen at your convenience, and even take recordings with you on a personal audio device. Learn more
