White Flint Sector Plan Public Meeting November 6, 2006

The Planning Board announces the first public meeting on the White Flint Sector Plan. The purpose of the meeting is to describe the planning process and to conduct a workshop to find out more about the public’s issues and hopes for the future of White Flint. The specifics with respect to the meeting follow:

Time: 7:00 PM – 9:30 PM

Location: Cafeteria, Council Office Building, 100 Maryland Avenue, Rockville Maryland.

White Flint Sector Plan Advisory Group

Nominations Accepted until Friday, November 10, 2006

The Planning Board is accepting nominations for the Plan Advisory Group (PAG) and has extended the deadline until November 10, 2006. The Planning Board will appoint members of the PAG in December.

The Plan Advisory Group will represent those interested in planning and urban design for the White Flint area. It will include people with a variety of perspectives. The Planning Board is inviting residents of White Flint and nearby neighborhoods, employers, property and business owners, civic group leaders and others to apply.
