  1. Unless otherwise noted, Planning Board meetings are held on Thursdays and begin at 9:00 a.m. The agenda is subject to change and certain items may be postponed or added.
  2. The Planning Board encourages public testimony unless otherwise noted on the agenda. Refer to the Planning Board Rules of Procedure for more information on public testimony. Any individual or organization not scheduled for public testimony may submit a written statement for consideration by the Planning Board. Written comments should be submitted at least 24 hours in advance of the Planning Board hearing date with reference to the matter to ensure that all comments will be included in the record before the Commission. Written comments received on the day of the hearing via email, fax, or postal mail may not be considered by the Planning Board or included in the record unless the Chair specifically leaves the record open.   3. Occasionally due to time constraints, the Planning Board may limit the total amount of time dedicated to public testimony. Total time limits will be listed on the agenda. Public testimony will not be taken for items identified as Briefings, Worksessions and/or Roundtables. On other occasions when no public testimony will be taken, the agenda will specifiy.
  4. Sign up online or call 301-495-4600 to testify on any agenda item in advance of a hearing.
  5. Listen to the Planning Board proceedings live on our website: www.montgomeryplanningboard.org. Or on Thursdays, call 301-495-4605 (during normal business hours) for status of the agenda.
  6. The Planning Board makes the final decision on any agenda items with an (*). On such matters, Maryland law and the Planning Board’s Rules of Procedure prohibit any member of the public from directly contacting or communicating with Board members outside the public hearing setting. Item 8 Amendments to the Department of Parks’ FY11-16 Capital Improvements Program (CIP) Continuation - NEW TIME/REVISED

The Department of Parks’ biennial FY11-16 CIP is due to the Council by November 1. The Department is recommending changes to its adopted FY11-16 CIP that it would like to include in its biennial submission to the Council. Staff will present information on major CIP projects that may be delayed in an effort to reduce Operating Budget Impacts (OBI). Staff is specifically recommending delaying the schedule and/or opening of the following CIP projects: Germantown Town Center Urban Park, Greenbriar Local Park, Woodlawn Barn Visitors’ Center, and Woodstock Equestrian Center.

PRELIMINARY WATER QUALITY PLAN
for
EDGEWOOD INN

The site is located at 16101 Oak Hill Road, which is within the Upper Paint Branch Watershed. The Upper Paint Branch Watershed is a designated Special Protection Area. The proposed project will utilize the site as a Country Inn along with associated smaller structures and parking. The project consists of a total of 8.29 acres.

 

If you wish to request a public information meeting, a written request must be submitted to this office within 15 days of this notice. (Notice posted October 8, 2010). The Water Quality Plans are available for review at the Department of Permitting Services office during working hours (8:00am-4:00pm Monday through Friday).
