PUBLIC MEETING ON DEVELOPMENT OF A NEW PARK
PLANNED FOR GREENBRIAR LOCAL PARK SITE

The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC), Montgomery County Department of Park and Planning, is inviting the public to participate in a meeting to review the proposed park plan for the Greenbriar Local Park site, located on Glen Road in proximity to the intersection with Travilah Road. The preliminary park design, including site conditions, park activity needs, and other details, will be presented and discussed as part of the process of developing a 'Facility Plan' for this park project. Once completed, the park facility plan and cost estimate will go to the Planning Board for approval.

WOODMONT TRIANGLE COMMUNITY FORUM
December 15, 2003, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission and the Conflict Resolution Council of Montgomery County will hold a community forum on the Woodmont Triangle on December 15, 2003, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Regional Services Center, 4805 Edgemoor in Bethesda. Results of the three previous workshops and a plan of action will be presented. Everyone is invited to attend.

A PRELIMINARY WATER QUALITY PLAN for WOODCREST

The site is located on MD Route 355, north of Clarksburg Road. About 18 acres of the 47-acre site are within the portion of the Little Seneca Creek watershed that is a designated Special Protection Area. The proposed development will consist of single-family and townhouse residential units along with the associated infrastructure.

A PRELIMINARY/FINAL WATER QUALITY PLAN for BRIARCLIFF MEADOWS SOUTH

The site is located at the end of Rowland Lane, which is within the Upper Paint Branch Watershed-a designated Special Protection Area. The proposed development will consist of 10 single-family houses and the associated infrastructure. The property is zoned RE-1 and is approximately 9.41 acres in size.

If you wish to request a public information meeting, a written request must be submitted to this office within 15 days of this notice (Notice posted 12/1/2003). The Water Quality Plans are available for review at the Department of Permitting Services office during working hours. (8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday).
