The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission's (M-NCPPC) Montgomery County Planning Board is inviting the public to testify on the Woodmont Triangle Public Hearing Draft Amendment to the Sector Plan for the Bethesda CBD, at its Public Hearing on Thursday, May 20, 2004, 7:30 p.m., in the auditorium at 8787 Georgia Avenue, Silver Spring, Maryland. APPLICANTS SOUGHT FOR RECREATION ADVISORY BOARDS

Montgomery County residents who are interested in working to promote the development of recreational programming as well as park facilities are encouraged to apply for appointments to vacancies on the County-wide Recreation Advisory Board or one of the Area Advisory Boards (Upcounty, Mid-County, Silver Spring, East County, and Western). These Boards meet one evening a month, and advise County officials on many issues including regional recreation needs and parks.
Applicants should enclose a brief resume and write, by May 26, to County Executive Douglas M. Duncan at the Executive Office Building, 101 Monroe St. Rockville, MD 20850 or send an e-mail to Douglas.Duncan@montgomerycountymd.gov. For further information call Jeff Bourne 240-777-6810.

Automated Tee Time Reservation System
Up and Running for Local Golf Courses

The Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC) announces the start-up of an automated tee time reservation system for the following M-NCPPC golf courses: Little Bennett, Needwood, Northwest Park, Sligo Creek and White Oak in Montgomery County, and Enterprise in Prince George's County. Customers are now able to reserve, modify or cancel tee times via the Internet or over the phone, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
