residents who are interested in working to promote the development of
recreational programming as well as park facilities are encouraged to
apply for appointments to vacancies on the County-wide Recreation Advisory
Board or one of the Area Advisory Boards (Upcounty, Mid-County, Silver
Spring, East County, and Western). These Boards meet one evening a month
and advise County officials on many issues including regional recreation
needs and parks. |

Tee Time Reservation System
Up and Running for Local Golf Courses The Maryland-National Capital
Park and Planning Commission (M-NCPPC) announces the start-up of an
automated tee time reservation system for the following M-NCPPC golf
courses: Little Bennett, Needwood, Northwest Park, Sligo Creek and White
Oak in Montgomery County, and Enterprise in Prince George's County.
Customers are now able to reserve, modify or cancel tee times via the
Internet or over the phone, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. |
